Unique solvability of the initial-boundary value problem for one-dimensional equations of the dynamics of compressible viscous multicomponent media

Abstract:
An initial boundary value problem for one-dimensional equations of the dynamics of compressible viscous multicomponent media in the isothermal case is considered. A theorem of the existence and uniqueness of a strong solution to the problem is proved without restrictions on the structure of the viscosity matrix, except for the standard requirements of symmetry and positive certainty.
